Streams by default
Anything DPX doesn't need to touch streams straight through the moment it arrives, the way a proxy should. Pages being optimized are held just long enough to rewrite correctly, then released — same request, no pre-build, nothing written to disk first.
Built-in minification
CSS and JavaScript are shrunk down automatically, in Rust, inside DPX itself — no Node build step and no separate minification toolchain to keep updated.
Local critical-CSS & images
Critical CSS is worked out and extracted on the server itself, and images convert to WebP and AVIF as they're served — locally, on your own hardware, with no separate service in the path and nothing metered per image.
Two-tier cache
The fastest results are kept in memory, with a bigger cache on disk behind it, so popular pages stay fast. Clear the whole site's cache, or just one page, whenever you need to.
