We check the new copy actually works — database reachable, a real HTTP check, not just "it copied" — and hand it back to you to review. You only cut over when you're happy.
The safety guarantee
Your live site is never written to. Only read.
Migration is a copy. DPX only ever reads from your existing site — a database export, a file download, a wp-config.php parse. Every write goes to the new destination. That's a design invariant, not a promise: no code path in the migration opens your source site for write. Transfers are host-key-verified and streamed, never buffered into a giant blob, and credentials are zeroized after use and never stored in plaintext. Hosting is EU-based, matching Digital Priority's privacy posture.
